A new video showing off The Day Before’s RTX graphics gives gamers another teaser for developer Fntastic’s upcoming title. In the short video, footage from the post-apocalyptic zombie MMO shows what to expect ahead of The Day Before’s March release.
A few months after the planned launch of The Day Before, many gamers are curious to know more details about the upcoming survival MMO. The game’s developer, Fntastic, has recently come under fire for revealing on its website that the studio relies heavily on volunteer labor, which has not gone down well with many gamers, who view the studio’s decision as exploitative.
Despite the controversy, Fntastic appears to be aiming for March, having delayed the game before its original June 2022 release, and has revealed a short trailer showcasing the title’s RTX capabilities with a very brief glimpse of gameplay.
The video, barely a minute long, is a montage presenting different environments, from outside urban agglomerations and suburban neighborhoods to inside claustrophobic apartments and basements.
Given the The Day Before is one of the most anticipated games of 2023, some of those who are excited about the zombie survival project might be disappointed by the lack of gameplay in the teaser. The trailer shows a bit of the RTX during gameplay, but overall the footage contains mostly glimpses of the world’s environments.
