The drinking water company Agus Bonaerenses (ABSA) informed that during this Monday the repair of the North Aqueduct will be carried out in its section on Calle 2 between 489 and 490, in the town of Gonnet in La Plata.
The fault was detected on Sunday, they specified, for which reason operational personnel fenced off the place to secure the position and scheduled the intervention to be carried out today. In a statement, they announced that Until the completion of the works, the pressure in the Villa Castells and Gonnet neighborhoods may be affected.
Faced with this situation, they asked the users make water reserves within reach and avoid any non-priority use of mains waterarranging its consumption for hydration and essential household chores.
Once service is restored, turbidity could be recorded, so they recommended letting the water run until it returns to its normal appearance.
