A woman from Khenchela was rushed to Ben Bala Hospital in critical condition after being badly burned by her neighbor in El Azhar road neighborhood yesterday, Sunday May 7, during the morning.
The latest information indicates that the victim suffers from third degree burns and was quickly transferred to the Batna hospital specializing in burns.
According to local sources, the victim was assaulted by his neighbour, who allegedly doused the victim with gasoline before setting him on fire. Witnesses at the scene tried to help him, but flames quickly engulfed his body, leaving the victim in critical condition.
In addition, witnesses reported that the victim had previously had problems with the attacking neighbor. These tensions would have arisen from a disagreement between the children of the victim and those of the suspect. Heated discussions had already taken place between the two parties, but they were quickly calmed down before the situation escalated on Sunday morning.

The security services of Khenchela opened an investigation into this atrocious attack to identify the attacker and the reasons for this criminal act. Law enforcement also called for vigilance and urged citizens to resolve their differences without violence.
A teacher from Sidi Bel abbès killed by her husband who commits suicide
A mathematics teacher under the age of 35 at the Djalal Abdel Kader college located in the commune of M’Cid in Sidi Bel Abbès, was fatally stabbed by her husband as she went to her workplace.
The facts took place a hundred meters from the school, around 8:15 am. The husband then committed suicide by jumping into a well.
Local sources refer to serious family conflicts between the victim and her attacker. The news plunged the inhabitants of the commune of M’Cid, as well as the students and workers of the school, into amazement and grief.
