HOUSTON – Seven years after being accused of killing his parents, AJ Armstrong was found guilty of the crime that occurred in 2016.
A Harris County jury made the decision Wednesday during the third trial of the man accused of murdering his parents while they slept in their home.
This was the third trial against Armstrong, after the first two were annulled due to the alleged impartiality of the jurors.
At the time of the crime, Armstrong was still a minor.
Two brothers, Jack and Brendan Cronin, ages 18 and 16, managed to capture a nearly 16-foot python in the Florida Everglades. The capture was recorded on video.
