Acer presented the first models of its new Acer Swift Go line, which perfectly complements the award-winning Swift family. The new devices optionally come with high-resolution OLED displays, long-lasting batteries and 13th generation Intel® Core(TM) processors. In addition, the Acer Swift X 14 and Acer Swift 14 models were presented, which help users to stay productive and connected on the go with their modern design and the latest performance technologies and tools.

The new Swift notebooks not only look good, they also pack impressive, up-to-date technologies and features, including high-resolution OLED displays, long-lasting batteries and 13th generation Intel® Core(TM) processors.
The Swift Go, Swift X 14 and Swift 14 models feature sleek, stylish and ultra-portable designs. Thoughtful visual features like structural lines and edges give these notebooks a more sophisticated look and appeal to highly mobile users.
The Acer Swift notebook line has received numerous awards over the past few years, with the Swift Edge being one of the winners of the CES® 2023 Innovation Awards.
Acer Swift Go – Extremely lightweight models with an impressive OLED display
The all-new Swift Go 16 (SFG16-71) and Swift Go 14 (SFG14-71) combine the latest technologies and feature an OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The thin and light notebooks offer powerful displays that are vibrant , deliver true-to-life images with 400 nits peak brightness, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification. The Swift Go 14 has a 35.6 cm (14-inch) 2.8K OLED display with a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels and 90 Hz, the Swift Go 16 has a 16-inch 3.2K OLED display with a Resolution of 3,200 x 2,000 and 120 Hz. Long hours of work, study and play become child’s play thanks to the TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe® display certification, the productivity-optimized 16:10 ratio and the touch options of the notebooks. The laptops’ backlit keyboards and OceanGlass(TM) touchpads also ensure a smooth and productive scrolling experience.
The new Swift Go 16 and Swift Go 14 are powered by 13th Generation Intel® Core(TM) processors of the H-series and are verified as Intel® Evo(TM) platform notebooks depending on the model. They offer top-notch performance and a battery life of more than 9.5 hours. With Intel® Movidius(TM) VPU, the devices have a special AI engine that enables collaboration, e.g. B. via video conference at the same time high-quality and energy-saving. The notebooks are also equipped with Intel® Unison(TM), which allows users to seamlessly connect their computers to Android or iOS devices for a universal, user-friendly experience.¹ The new solution puts the PC at the heart of everything activities and offers the freedom to work across operating systems to effortlessly transfer files, make calls, send messages and manage notifications – all on one screen.
Both notebooks are equipped with an improved TwinAir dual fan system, two copper heat pipes and an air-inlet keyboard that dissipates heat. The slim design of the 14.9 mm flat aluminum unibody case has been optimized for a screen-to-body ratio of 90 percent. The 14-inch model has display bezels that are just 4.15 mm wide and weighs less than 1.3 kg. The slim side frames of the 16-inch version measure 4.2 mm and the notebook weighs just 1.6 kg.
The Swift Go 16 and Swift Go 14 both have a range of ports including two USB Type-C with Thunderbolt(TM) 4, HDMI 2.1 and a MicroSD card reader. The Swift Go notebooks also feature the latest PurifiedView(TM) video conferencing features such as background blurring, automatic framing and eye contact. The 1440p Temporal Noise Reduction (TNR) webcam delivers high-quality video feedback even in low light, and works in tandem with Acer PurifiedVoice(TM) technology with AI noise reduction to deliver crisp, clear images and audio for meetings and classes. Fast and reliable Wi-Fi 6E keeps laptops connected when it matters most. Both the Swift Go 16 and Swift Go 14 support up to two TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD and up to 16 GB LPDDR5 storage.
Acer Swift X 14 – Powerful performance with NVIDIA® GeForceTM RTX GPUs
The Swift X 14 (SFX14-71) unleashes the potential of both hobby and professional creatives. 13th Gen Intel® Core(TM) H-Series² processors and up to NVIDIA® GeForceTM RTX 4050 laptop GPUs power the premium notebook. It is NVIDIA® Studio validated and optimized with preinstalled NVIDIA® Studio drivers. The Swift X 14’s advanced thermal features include an extra large fan to keep the innards cool, a dedicated air intake keyboard, and dual copper heat pipes. The redesigned body accommodates a larger battery, allowing for longer runtime for all-day productivity and performance.
The high-contrast 35.6 cm (14″) 2.8K OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz reproduces 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color range vividly and is VESA DisplayHDR(TM) TrueBlack 500 certified. The display’s 400 nits peak brightness and high contrast bring stunning colors and images to life, ensuring everything is crisp and clear. With the 10800p Full HD webcam and Acer PurifiedView(TM) and PurifiedVoice(TM) with AI Noise Reduction, creatives can easily collaborate on the go. In addition, connections such as dual USB Type-C with Thunderbolt(TM) 4 and HDMI 2.1, as well as a MicroSD card reader ensure that displays, printers and other peripherals can be connected without any problems.
Acer Swift 14 – Elegant premium design
The latest Swift 14 (SF14-71T) boasts a new and improved design. The thin and light CNC-machined unibody is clad in aerospace-grade aluminum and available in Mist Green or Steam Blue. The diamond-cut edges and double-anodized materials highlight the 14.95 mm slim and high-quality case that weighs just 1.2 kg. The OceanGlass touchpad complements the premium style of the notebook while also contributing to Acer’s Earthion mission as the touchpad with a glass-like feel is made from ocean plastic waste.
The Swift 14 houses up to 13th Gen Intel® Core(TM) processors H-series and is Intel® Evo verified. It offers a battery life of more than 9.5 hours³. The notebooks are also integrated with Intel® Unison(TM), allowing users to collaborate on key productivity features across different operating systems. The Swift 14’s impressive thermal solutions feature an air intake design that works in tandem with Acer’s TwinAir dual fan system and D6 copper heat pipes to deliver increased airflow.
The Acer Swift 14 comes with a choice of two 35.6 cm (14 inch) touchscreen displays – either as WQXGA (2560 x 1600) or WUXGA (1920 x 1200). Both variants are covered with durable, antimicrobial Corning® Gorilla® Glass to increase scratch resistance and prevent the growth of dirt and odor-causing bacteria.(4) Conferences, classes and video chats on the go are possible with the 1440p QHD webcam of the Swift 14 with TNR technology, Acer PurifiedVoice(TM) and dual speakers with DTS® Audio is no problem. User login is simplified with Windows Hello and the integrated fingerprint reader without compromising security, while the two USB Type-C Thunderbolt(TM) 4 ports and HDMI 2.1 connector enable convenient connection to peripherals.
Prices and Availability
The Acer Swift Go 16 (SFG16-71) is expected to be available from March 2023. Prices will be announced at a later date.
The Acer Swift Go 14 (SFG14-71) is expected to be available from February at recommended retail prices starting at EUR/CHF 1,099.
The Acer Swift X 14 (SFX14-71G) is expected to be available from April at recommended retail prices starting at EUR/CHF 1,499.
The Acer Swift 14 (SF14-71T) is expected to be available from the end of Q1 2023 at recommended retail prices starting at EUR/CHF 1,699.
