- The new Nitro notebooks are available with a 40.64 cm (16″) WUXGA or WQXGA display or a 43.95 cm (17.3″) FHD or QHD display and have up to two TB of storage and up to to 32GB DDR5 4800 memory.
- The new notebooks have two fans, four side and rear fan outlets, a top air intake and are additionally protected by liquid metal thermal paste supported for additional cooling during intensive gaming.

Acer Nitro 16
The new Nitro 16 (AN16-51) gaming laptop offers a five percent larger screen real estate than its predecessor and features an updated 16-inch WUXGA or WQXGA display with a 165 Hz refresh rate, supporting NVIDIA® Advanced Optimus and it allows users to dynamically switch between the integrated and the dedicated graphics card without having to reboot. It has a 4-zone RGB backlit keyboard and ensures brilliant colors with 100 percent sRGB color space support. The improved screen-to-body ratio of 84 percent guarantees an attractive viewing experience.
Acer Nitro 17
Powered by 13th Gen Intel® Core(TM) processors, the Nitro 17 packs the power into a package that weighs less than three kg. The 17.3-inch notebook has several display options: an FHD display with 144 Hz or 165 Hz refresh rate or a quad high definition display (QHD) with 165 Hz refresh rate. It also offers a large touchpad (125.0 mm x 81.6 mm), a screen-to-body ratio of 81 percent and a 4-zone backlit RGB keyboard.
The new Windows 11-based Acer Nitro notebooks are equipped with up to 32 GB DDR5 4800 MHz memory and up to two TB M.2 PCIe Gen 4 storage, so that even more games, films and streaming content can be stored. Both notebooks also come with a month-long Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pass, giving gamers access to hundreds of popular PC titles.
Equipped with two fans, four side and rear fan outlets and a top air intake, the Nitro devices are additionally supported by liquid metal thermal compound to improve cooling during intensive games. They each come with NitroSense software and a dedicated NitroSense key, which users can use to monitor their system’s temperature, as well as adjust fan speeds and performance settings to keep the hardware as cool as possible.
Each model comes with Killer DoubleShot Pro and is equipped with Killer Wi-Fi 6 1650i to provide more bandwidth. To enhance the gaming and streaming experience, these notebooks feature an HD camera, dual microphones and dual speakers with DTS:X® Ultra audio, allowing gamers to immerse themselves in lush audioscapes. The new Nitro gaming notebooks also feature a convenient range of connectivity options with an HDMI 2.1 port, a microSD card reader, two Thunderbolt(TM) 4 ports supporting Power Delivery and three USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports one of which enables offline loading.
Prices and Availability
The Acer Nitro 16 (AN16-51) is expected to be available from May at recommended retail prices starting at EUR/CHF 1,499.
The Acer Nitro 17 (AN17-51) is expected to be available from May at recommended retail prices starting at EUR/CHF 1,549.
