According to the agency’s daily report, the towns affected by the fire are Ituzaingó, in the Villa Olivari area, and Anguá, in Corrientes; Gualeguay, in Entre Ríos; Loncopué, in Cerro Hoyada, in Neuquén; and in the areas of Arroyo Ushuaia, Río Foyel and Río Ternero in Bariloche, in Río Negro.
Meanwhile, the flames that affected Futalaufquen (Laguna el Tarro), in Chubut, were “contained” until Tuesday, while the other fires unleashed in the province are under control.
In Entre Ríos, the fire in Gualeguay was contained and the focus of La Paz (Los Talas) was controlled.
Towards the south of the country, the flames near the Rio Negro city of Bariloche, in Pinar de Adeful, were extinguished, while the fires in Bariloche, in the Campo Foriester area, were “contained” and those in the area of Esandi and Havana.
In Tierra del Fuego, the fire in Tolhuin (Carmen Vieja) is contained.
Likewise, the organization indicated that in the province of Buenos Aires the fire that affected the towns of Zárate, Campana (Route 12), and that of the Ciervo De Los Pantanos National Park (Tajiber) has been extinguished.
In turn, in the city of Buenos Aires the flames in the Costanera Sur Reserve were “controlled”, which implies that the “control line has been definitively established” and it is considered that “there is no possibility of regrowth”.
Meanwhile, the forest fires in Ledesma and San Pedro, in Jujuy, and in Capital, at the height of Río Salado, in Catamarca, were “extinguished.”
The Ministry of the Environment sent air resources required by the jurisdictions, and made more air resources and personnel available to fight the fire if requested.
In Entre Ríos, the Boeing Chinook aircraft operated and an SNMF fire hydrant plane and a helicopter for the transfer of Ministry of Defense personnel are available to operate, while 18 combatants from the NEA National Brigade provide support.
