It’s that time again: the old year has barely ended when the 2023 gourmet season begins. It’s traditional Restaurant carousel the beginning, which will rotate for eight weeks and will have plenty of epicurean delights for every taste. The Gastronomenverein ESSEN GENIESSEN eV from Essen offers unique gourmet events and offers that leave a lasting impression in terms of enjoyment.
The popular Restaurant carouselin which a total of 23 locations from Duisburg, Essen, Mühlheim an der Ruhr and Oberhausen take part, serves its guests an unusual four-course à la carte menu.
“We owe this broad spectrum to the participating restaurants from the various cities, which serve specially created menus,” says Rainer Bierwirth, initiator and board member of ESSEN GENIESSEN eV “These wonderful creations – which is also a tradition for us – are accompanied by suitable each course selected, fine wines. For friends of hops, we alternatively offer a ‘freshly tapped beer’ to choose from. And the best thing about it: guests enjoy their menu at a particularly low introductory fixed price.”
Turn four into five
The less decisive fans of the best cuisine can look forward to a tasty extension: For all those who find the question of whether to choose the fish or the meat variant for the main course unanswerable, simply choose both and expand it Menu – for a small surcharge – from four to five delicious courses.
Another highlight: Every couple who has enjoyed menus from our restaurant carousel together will receive a wine from the “Essen Enjoyment” edition as a thank you, so that you can end a successful evening in a relaxed atmosphere with a glass of wine at home.
