In Röthis, work for this year’s stage of the water pipe renewal will start in the coming days

Next Monday, work will start in Röthis for this year’s stage of replacing the water pipes.
Röthis. Investments have been made in the existing infrastructure in Röthis for a number of years, and this year around 1.4 million euros have been earmarked for replacing the water pipes in the household.
Work continues on Schlößlestrasse and Schützenstrasse
Last year, around 1,655 running meters of main lines and 1,175 running meters of house connection lines were laid in sections of Schlößlestrasse, Königshofweg, Salzacker, Zehntstrasse and Breite. In parts of Schlößlestraße and Schützenstraße, the planned construction work to replace the water pipe could not be fully completed last year, so work will continue in this area from the beginning of February. There will also be traffic delays and a roadblock on the state road.
Significant traffic obstructions and loads
This year the renewal of the water pipes in Bruchatgasse, Treietstraße, Walgaustraße and Hummelbergstraße as well as in Räterweg are planned. The construction work in Bruchatgasse, which is expected to remain completely closed until the end of April, will start on January 23rd. During this time, access will sometimes only be possible from one side. “The costs for re-laying the main lines and house connections this year amount to around 1.23 million euros. In 2023 there will therefore be significant traffic obstructions and loads again,” Mayor Roman Kopf asks for understanding in advance. MIMA
