They capture the huge caiman on the runway at an air base in Florida

After unsuccessfully resisting, a huge alligator that wandered freely on the runway at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampawas captured this Monday and relocated to a nearby river by personnel from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC).

In published photos on social media by MacDill Air Force Base, the alligator appears very relaxed taking a break morning between the wheels of a tanker planeunconcerned about what was happening around him and with no intention of leaving the “comfortable” place.

But FWC officials arrived to remove the intruder from the base’s flight line, and it took no small amount of strength and skill to overpower him and take him to safety.

And video uploaded to Facebook shows two animal conservation agency officers struggling with the alligator, which was flailing and resisting subjugation. Tying him with ropes, they were finally able to overpower him and drive him off the track.

“The alligator is now in the Hillsborough River,” the base wrote. “Our new toothy airman has been relocated to a more suitable environment off base. Special thanks to FWC for the help.”

The note indicates that the FWC believes it is possible that an even larger alligator, nicknamed Elvis, which resides in the area, may have chased this reptile away from its home.

The statement published this Monday ends with a congratulations on Earth Day, regarding its global celebration this April 22.

The unusual episode of the reckless alligator “aspiring aviator” has not been the only one in recent days in Florida.

The images of a man called Mike Dragich capturing a crocodile in the middle of the street, with just his hands and using their physical strength they have left more than one speechless.

In the southern state it is common to see alligators and crocodiles wandering through urban areas, streets, highways, recreational areas, beaches, and some have even managed to enter homesas happened very recently to a resident of the city of Venice, in Sarasota County.
