During this Sunday’s Double or Nothing, there were some moments of concern due to possible injuries to some fighters. However, positive information emerged about their health status.
During the Four Pillars Match for the AEW World Championship, MJF suffered an apparent injury to his forearm while executing a Chris Candido tribute move. Speculation arose about the severity of the injury.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported that MJF’s forearm is only “bruised” due to a move executed by Darby Allin. There are no fractures and MJF is not expected to be sidelined.
Another concern was related to the chaotic Anarchy in the Arena Match between The Elite and Blackpool Combat Club.
During the match, several dangerous moments occurred, including a blow involving Matt Jackson’s explosive tennis and Jon Moxley’s head, in addition to Young Buck having several pins in his mouth and skewered feet.
The same journalist reports that there were no serious injuries among the fighters involved. Aside from a few cuts, bruises and scratches, they are all healing and shouldn’t be out for too long.
