After the announcement of the premiere date of AEW’s new show, Collision, there were times when CM Punk’s return to AEW was in jeopardy, which led the company to come up with alternative plans if he did not return.
However, everything indicates that the former world champion will even return. through a insta story on his Instagram account, the “Second City Saint” did a somewhat peculiar promotion for the first episode of Collision.
CM Punk shared an image of the poster promoting the television show and identified all of the fighters featured on the poster, but placed multiple photographs of Danhausen’s face over each one except MJF.
In place of the “Salt of the Earth” with the AEW World Championship, CM Punk put an image of Batman, in an allusion to the tease which he did two years ago, when he returned to wrestling, with the music for “The Dark Knight Returns”.
Obviously, this seems to be a sign that the fighter has reconciled with AEW and will return for the company’s new television show.
It is also worth mentioning that a few hours after Double or Nothing this Sunday, Brody King published a photograph next to the “Second City Saint”, who was backstage at the pay-per-view.
