Tiffany Stratton won the NXT Women’s Championship at Battleground this Sunday, after defeating Lyra Valkyria in the final of the tournament that crowned the new champion.
Shortly after, the Queens of Wrestling Twitter account highlighted that the NXT fighter’s achievement represented a historic WWE brand.
Tiffany Stratton, by winning the NXT Women’s Championship, became the 100th woman to win a title in WWE history.
It will now be seen if WWE will mention this historic milestone in their programs, but it is still a great achievement for the new NXT Women’s Champion.
