Rows at the local plant / D. Ripoll

After the headache that brought hundreds of people from La Plata, and Buenos Aires, who expected to go on vacation these days but could not renew the technical verification of their car due to the saturation of shifts, the only way to do it.

Therefore, from the Province it was assured yesterday that it is analyzed that motorists with the expired Vehicle Technical Verification (VTV) can continue circulating on routes and streets but with the condition of having already been awarded a shift to complete the process.

This was indicated by sources consulted by eldia.com, who indicated that they are working on the resolution that authorizes the mobilization of motorists whose validity of the VTV has expired “as long as they already have” the turn for renewal and that they had managed it prior to the expiration of the wafer. In this way, it would not reach those who took turns in the last days and who had their turn in mid-January 2023.

As indicated, it is expected that the measure will finish taking shape this week so that it will be in force at the beginning of the summer season, when many go to the Buenos Aires routes with different destinations to spend the holidays.

Alert for scams

VTV, like every previous vacation -winter or summer- was back in the news in the last few hours: firstly due to complaints due to the lack of shifts, for example at the La Plata plant, for the first days of January and also because from the Buenos Aires Ministry of Transportation they warned about scams that some users who seek to carry out VTV would be suffering.

In this sense, from the Transportation portfolio they reported a hoax that is circulating on the networks and that many would have fallen into the trap and it is through an advance payment to carry out the process. “Given the complaints of fraud in the reservation of VTV appointments, we inform you that during the process your bank details or advance payment are not requested,” they specified, making it clear that the process is only paid at the terminals themselves.

Prices

Meanwhile, it was indicated that in the province of Buenos Aires, carrying out the VTV has a cost of 945 pesos for motorcycles and 3,150 for cars. And that the indicated amounts can be paid both in cash and with credit and debit cards.

Returning to the issue of shifts in the plants in our region, it should be remembered that entry is no longer allowed without prior reservation, a similar situation exists in the 60 other plants of the 135 Buenos Aires municipalities that are fully operational and overwhelmed by demand. Meanwhile, in 2023 the patent system will govern.
