If you didn’t know what to feed your PlayStation 5 at the start of the year, then perhaps the answer to your questions was on the side of Forspoken. Announced in June 2020 during the presentation of the console, of which it was one of the most anticipated games, the game developed by Luminous Productions was among the biggest titles in the catalog of Square-Enix while waiting for a certain Final Fantasy XVI to come next June. Last December, just after the Game Awards 2022, this action-RPG awaited by many players offered a PS5 demo exclusive to the console of sonyand which PC gamers kept dreaming of desperately to get an idea of the quality of the game. Thankfully, those days are now over!
Released on January 24, Forspoken is the very first game from Luminous Productions studio, whose team had previously worked on Final Fantasy XV. Presented primarily to the general public as a PS5 game, of which it will be a console exclusive for a period of two years (Xbox Series players will therefore have to wait, at best, until the end of January 2025 to play it), it is also available on PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store and the Microsoft Store. While its free demo was currently only made available on the PlayStation Store for PS5 players, the Forspoken demo is now also downloadable on PC and this on the three launchers where the Square Enix game can be purchased. Enough to get an idea of what the PC version of Forspoken is worth, of which, we recall, the recommended configuration is very greedy.
