With the commitment of the student tourism companies to offer travel packages for 7th grade graduates that start at 140,000 pesos, clarity in the information about fees, packages and “extra” offers that do not make the excursion but make it more expensive , the Department of Domestic Trade of the province considered successful the meeting that he coordinated on Tuesday between businessmen in the sector and families who denounced an excessive increase in traditional excursions.
“Both parties were satisfied. And from the secretariat we are also satisfied because four fundamental points regarding travel could be incorporated”, indicated Juan Marcos Aviano, Santa Fe Secretary of Commerce after the meeting with parents of 6th grade students who plan to travel to Carlos Paz, and representatives of five student tourism companies.

The meeting took place after public demonstrations and formal complaints made by groups of self-summoned parentswho found themselves with abusive increases of up to 300 percent in the price of student trips to Villa Carlos Paz, the destination par excellence to crown the end of primary school.
It is that in the first contacts with the coordinators of the companies, the parents were surprised with the budgets for five days and four nights in Villa Carlos Paz for 2024, with a cost of between 300 and 350 thousand pesos with full board, coordinators and excursions.
Last week Aviano had already held a meeting with the parents, where they agreed advance in the study of the offers and enable a space for negotiation between parents and owners of student tourism companies.
That instance finally materialized this Tuesday at the local headquarters of the Ministry of Commerce.
