Jurrien Timber could leave Ajax Amsterdam in the summer. “A transfer is approaching”the 21-year-old centre-back told the Telegraaf, “There is a lot of concrete interest and I have an agreement with Ajax. Last year they asked me to stay at least another year and extend. As a supporter of the club, I was happy to do so and after this season we will reassess the situation.”

Timber has been active for Ajax since 2014 and is one of the undisputed regular players in the current season. The central defender has already appeared in 42 competitive games. His contract in Amsterdam runs until 2025.
