Today, former president Alejandro Toledo arrived, extradited to Peru, to serve 18 months in preventive detention for the case odebrecht, imposed by the Judiciary and respond to the accusations of being the author of the crimes of collusion and money laundering to the detriment of the State, for which the Prosecutor’s Office requested 20 years and six months in prison. The former congressman and former Minister of Labor during the government of Alexander ToledoJuan Sheput, argued that there was a possibility of rebuilding Perú Posible as “a political effect” of the former president’s return.

“Obviously, I would no longer lead it Alexander Toledo but there are many people who feel loyal to him, and are behind the reconstitution of that party,” he said in an interview with Correo.
