Alessia Herren reviews the birth of daughter Anisa-Amalia via Instagram story and remembers above all the unbearable contractions.
Cologne – It was quiet around Alessia Herren (21) on social media. The daughter of the late entertainer Willi Herren († 45) became the mother of a daughter on April 16, but had not been on Instagram weeks before the birth. During her Insta comeback, the 21-year-old reviewed the birth of her first child.
The new mother appeared again in her Instagram story for the first time and gave her 104,000 followers a sign of life and a mommy update. On Sunday, April 16, daughter Anisa-Amalia was born and the birth was no picnic, as the 21-year-old now revealed. A caesarean section was out of the question for the young mother, but the natural birth was quite challenging. “Guys, these contractions were so incredibly painful,” Alessia recalls in her story and in order to endure the pain, the woman from Cologne gratefully accepted all available painkillers.
“I thought I was dying”: The contractions started on Saturday afternoon
“Whether it was suppositories, epidurals, infusions, nitrous oxide … I took everything. The contractions were so bad, ”explains the woman from Cologne. While the offspring saw the light of day shortly after 1 p.m. on Sunday, the contractions started on Saturday afternoon and Alessia was completely exhausted: “Oh my God, I thought I was dying,” remembers Herren.
But the birth was “simply fantastic and beautiful” for her and her husband, who was by her side the whole time and also spent the three days after the birth in the hospital. In the meantime, the three of them have settled into their new everyday life at home and Alessia admits: “It was a bit difficult with the little one at first, or rather, I was a bit overwhelmed. Because you ask yourself: are you a good mother? Are you doing all of this correctly? It’s a completely new situation.” But Alessia and little Anisa-Amalia get used to each other better every day and the young mother is happy in her new role: “You just grow into it and there really is nothing nicer”.
