37th Feldkirch children’s masked ball under the motto “On the construction site” – great clown show

FELDKIRCH The town of Feldkirch invited elementary school children aged six to ten to the children’s masked ball in the gatehouse. The motto this year was “On the construction site” and in addition to a large number of tricky play stations, the highlight was a fun show with clown polo from Übersaxen, at which all the children were excited.

The children’s masked ball began with a great polonaise through the gatehouse hall. Full of energy, the children made their way to the various play stations, which ranged from wall shooting, throwing walls and excavator walls to a truck race, cement sack hopping and wheelbarrow races. In a “restricted zone” motor mobility was required, while in the “touch box” sensory intuition was required.

At the construction site bar Caroline Ilg and Nathalie Koch there was fruit and juice as well as delicious carnival donuts and drinks for the little “master builders”, who were able to strengthen themselves for the subsequent play stations of the children’s masked ball.

The highlight for the children was a fun show clown polo from Übersaxen, who managed to play the accordion and perform acrobatic tricks at the same time. All the children were very enthusiastic and followed the exciting performance attentively.

This was the crowning glory of the semester break program. The children’s masked ball is organized and carried out in cooperation with the youth advisory board of the city of Feldkirch and for many years with the help of a large number of volunteers. HE
