Serge Gnabry (27) has drawn the ire of Bayern Munich’s sports director Hasan Salihamidzic. “That’s amateurish, exactly what Bayern Munich isn’t. Somewhere to do some gymnastics when you have a day off”, the head of sport was quoted by the ‘Bild’ after the 1-1 draw against 1. FC Köln. His offensive man used last Sunday for a trip to Paris Fashion Week – much to the annoyance of the Bayern bosses.

Salihamidzic follows up: “A day off is part of it to rest and then to be able to step on the gas for the next game. We’ll talk about that. I wanted to leave the boys alone to prepare for the game. But of course that needs to be discussed.” Gnabry is likely to face an internal penalty.
