Before Malle, Jeff is now the boss!
Amazon founder Jeff Bezos (59, rd, 108 billion euros) takes his new baby for a walk. In the Bay of Palma (off Puerto Portals) he was sighted on the super yacht “Koru” (engl. “new beginning”).
With his partner Lauren Sánchez (53), he landed on Monday at 2:30 p.m. by private jet (from LA) on the Balearic island – and continued straight away by helicopter: photos show both after landing on the yacht escort ship “Abeona” (76 meters, when floating “pack donkey” included, including for Bezos’ luxury cars, speedboats, jet skis).
HE like an action agent all in black, SHE in black and white – as a duo simply HOT!
Arrived on the superyacht, Bezos and Sánchez first greeted the crew with a handshake, before enjoying a tour of the deck in the bright sunshine. According to BILD information, a member of the shipyard team showed the couple around and explained the various amenities, facilities and benefits.
Drinks in hand, Bezos and Sánchez seemed to be enjoying the tour and inspection of the ship, hugging and kissing.
Five years ago, Bezos commissioned the “Koru” (127 meters long, 70 meters high), and in March the second largest sailing yacht in the world was completed by the Dutch “Oceanco” shipyard.
COST POINT? 470 MILLION EURO.
The gigantic sailing yacht with the “Abeona” has been lying in the Bay of Palma since mid-April, waiting for its VIP owner. Now we’re going on our maiden voyage!
The luxury facilities include an XXL pool and lounge areas on three open decks, conference rooms and a private cinema. Also on board: crates of supplies and rods full of garment bags from high-end labels such as “Dolce & Gabbana”.
At Mr. Amazon JACHT one highlight the next!
Super Sailors – Who has the biggest?
She is a ship of superlatives, but ONE competitor takes the wind out of the sails of the “Koru”:
▶ The “Sailing Yacht A” (approx. 400 million euros, 8 decks) by oligarch Andrei Igorevich Melnitschenko (51) is 142.81 meters long and the largest sailing yacht in the world!
In March 2022, it was seized in Trieste by Italian authorities as part of sanctions against Russian oligarchs.
︎ Third place among the super sailors: The “Black Pearl” (187.5 million euros) at 106.7 meters. It was built by the Russian oligarch Oleg Burlakov († 71), who died in 2021.
The pearl has six cabins for 12 guests, two pools and a wine cellar.
Futuristic: An artificial bathing beach can simulate different daylight moods!
▶︎ Small but mighty? The “Pink Gin VI” (54 meters) by prosthesis billionaire Hans Georg Näder (61, “Ottobock”).
The carbon yacht with signal pink sails is currently for sale for 27.5 million!
