A month and a half after the conclusion of the Winter Split of Amazon University Esports in Italy, the esports competition for university students returns with the Spring Split for a spring full of competitions. This is the eighth season which will also see the finals held in the LAN.

Registrations for the spring split are officially open to all interested universities and concern the following qualifications: League of Legends, Valorant, Teamfight Tactics, Clash Royale and Rocket League. After weeks of battling, the winners of the National Qualifiers will go head-to-head in the live Grand Finals.

The goal of this competition, please note, is to raise student awareness of careers in the world of esports, be it the participation as a player or the side of media, logistics, administration or production behind the scenes. Together with the Amazon University Esports tournaments themselves, in fact, the organizers of King Esport and key partners such as HP Omen, Samsung, Fritz! and Prime Student will organize training workshops. Also, with this Spring Split comes the University World virtual space for students to directly interact and build community.

Francesco Basile, co-founder of King Esport, said: “The student response to all of the new initiatives has been wonderful. With the Spring Split of 2023 we will implement and improve all the activities aimed at involving students, who will be placed even more at the center of the project. We are ready and we can’t wait for this new edition to start”.
