Moscow.- An 81-year-old woman was arrested in the Krasnodar region, in southern Russia, for allegedly commissioning the murder of a police officer, the regional department of the Ministry of Interior reported on its website.
According to the investigation, the woman, for reasons that are still unknown, offered one million rubles (almost $12,000) for the murder of a police officer.
Its intention reached the ears of the forces of order, one of whose agent “accepted” the assignment, after which the assassination of the policeman who had been designated as a target was staged.
The woman was arrested when, after receiving doctored photographs as proof of fulfillment of the order, she delivered part of the money to the false murderer.
