The head of the National Administration of Aqueducts and Sewers (ANDA), Rubén Alemán, carried out a sanitary technical inspection on two small traditional systems that provide drinking water to more than 14,000 people who live in the San Jacinto neighborhood, municipality of San Salvador.

“We start the sanitary inspections”, announced the head of ANDA, Rubén Alemán, who led the verifications in San Jacinto. “We have verified the quality of the water and the level of residual chlorine, a parameter that allows us to strengthen the defense so that there are no microbiological bacteria”he explained.

Within the framework of this visit, the president of ANDA, together with multidisciplinary personnel from the institution, also reviewed the plant facilities in order to discover opportunities for improvements in the distribution network.

“The objective is to ensure that the water that comes out of the taps of our production sources maintains its safety until it reaches the tap of Salvadoran homes,” express.
