In addition to the fact that in the future we will see a change regarding charging sockets on new mobile devices to make it easier for the consumer, Android manufacturers are now taking their own step to simplify it for their users.
In order to improve its wireless charging they have tried to copy Apple’s Magsafe charging where there is a form of magnet in the charging, all to make battery charging more universal and easier for both iPhone and Android users.
The first unit will be released already in 2023 and will be able to be charged with 15 watts and also be able to detect if there are unrecognizable objects on it. Faster charging for some devices and include improved security to avoid damage and extend battery life. They have also invested in making it backwards compatible with the devices that today work on previous Magsafe-like charging stations and those with Qi functions from before.
