Injured on stage, Angèle explains why she continued

While performing on stage, Angèle twisted her ankle asking her fans to jump with her. A video posted by a viewer on social media captured the moment. She had also warned her audience just after her performance. “Paris, I just blew my ankle“. Faced with Nikos Aliagas, she returned to this scenic misadventure. Getting hurt on stage, it had to happen to me one day“, she confided. Despite her injury, she continued the concert. “As much for the people who are there as for ourselves“, she said. And to continue: “That date was special because it was the last French date and I couldn’t tell myself that that night I was going to dance less, so I did it and frankly, where I thought it was would have the opposite effect, it gave me confidence“.
