Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's son Pax leaves ICU after car accident

MIAMI.- Pax, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s sonleft the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the medical center to which he was transferred after suffering a traffic accident with his electric bike on Los Feliz Boulevard in Los Angeles, according to local media.

The 20-year-old crashed into the back of a vehicle on the night of July 29 and suffered trauma because he was not wearing a helmet.

“Now he begins a long road of recovery and physical therapy. They are very grateful for the quick action of the emergency team that saved his life and for the excellent medical care he has received,” a source close to the news told People magazine.

Family support

The insider confirmed that the 49-year-old actress has been by her son’s side since the accident. Likewise, Maddox, 22; Zahara, 19; Shiloh, 18; and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16, have been by their brother’s side since news of the accident broke.

A law enforcement source told TMZ that the accident happened near the family’s residence in a busy area.

The blow caused Pax to faint instantly, and it was not until the paramedics arrived and helped him that the young man was able to regain consciousness. When he woke up, he reported a strong pain in his head and discomfort in his hip, which is why he was immediately transferred to a hospital.

Another source told Page Six that this isn’t the first time Brad and Angelina’s second adopted son has been involved in such an incident.

“His friends are worried about him. He’s acting recklessly. He’s been in a series of car accidents, and that’s not good. Pax is a troubled kid and Angelina is doing everything she can to help him,” said the person, who remained anonymous.
