He Quintanarroense Women’s Institute (IQM) invited the women of the entity to the call for recognition “Outstanding Quintanarroense Woman”, an award given to all those distinguished by their leadership trajectory and actions that have benefited their community.
The IQM organizes this recognition within the framework of “International Women’s Day”, commemorated on March 8 of each year and all women who are proposed by professional associations, civil associations, public and private universities, business chambers may participate. as well as the general public.
The call was open from February 9 to 23 of the current year. Later, the Selection Committee will be in charge of reviewing the proposals and will decide who will be worthy of the award in each of the 13 areas such as: Political; business; Scientist; Technological; Educational; Cultural; Ecological; Tourist; Indigenous; Health; Sports; Communication and Citizen.

It is worth mentioning that the delivery of the recognition “Outstanding Quintanarroense Woman” will be a historic edition, since the recognitions will be delivered by the first female governor of the state in a public event in Chetumal.
