During the last weekend, different road accidents were registered, which added to the list of injuries caused – precisely – by accidents in the streets and avenues of the Region. As reported by EL DIA in its previous editions, always based on police and judicial sources, it was the motorcyclists who staged more than six heavy crashes, leaving two of them in serious condition, one reported yesterday at noon.
According to spokespersons, the terrible accident took place in the area of 44 and corner 180, in the town of Lisandro Olmos. There, for reasons that are trying to be clarified through video cameras and testimonies, a Honda titan 150cc motorcycle and a Volkswagen goal vehicle collided brutally, taking the worst part of the minor vehicle.
After the road incident, front members and witnesses alerted 911 and minutes later a police car and a SAME ambulance arrived. Once on the scene, they verified the accident and urgently transferred the motorcycle driver to the “Dr. Alejandro Korn” by Melchor Romero.
Based on what was detailed in the official part, the victim presented an “exposed fracture of the right leg”, so these are key hours for his evolution. Medical sources reported that “he is in danger of life” due to the severity of the injury.
It should be noted that the investigators seized both shots, and while waiting to clarify the situation, members of the Scientific Police worked at the scene.
WHAT IS KNOWN ABOUT THE OTHER INJURED
As mentioned, this motorcyclist joins the 21-year-old who was also left in serious condition after colliding brutally with his motorcycle in the zone of 13 and corner 165, in Berisso. In this case, the driver of the car contacted EL DÍA and revealed that he was driving on Calle 165 and stopped at the corner of 13. When he passed the intersection “the motorcycle hit him on the right side.”
Therefore, the vehicle was marked on “the right door and the part of the upright.” “There were three individuals,” he described, later noting that, upon seeing an injured boy, he quickly got out to call 911 and request assistance from another motorist who was passing by.
“I asked them not to leave. They hit me and they all fled. The motorcycle had no lights or patents. It is not known who owns the motorcycle, ”he closed.
The fact is being investigated by UFI No. 10 of the Judicial Department of La Plata and was classified as “culpable injuries.”
To date -according to police data collected and revealed by this newspaper-, in the Region there are a total of 27 people who lost their lives due to a traffic accident. The figure worries and alarms the authorities, since the conclusion to these numbers is that the problem continues, it is palpable every day and there is no solution or brake.
