As EL DIA was able to know, they estimate that it would have happened the same day and now they are trying to determine if it was the same gang that entered a car driven by a woman.
According to the first information, the residents of the house in this case that was reported today were not in the City, so they only found out yesterday when they returned. At the moment it is unknown what was taken and if there was money among what was stolen. The truth is that this closed neighborhood is altered by these hours before the two attacks. Even owners assured that the WhatsApp group of the neighbors “explodes” due to the anger that exists around insecurity.
It should be remembered that, as this newspaper has been reporting, due to the logistics with which the criminals operated, due to the place chosen and the loot obtained, sources with access to the investigation already classify the millionaire coup in the exclusive country as a “escruche VIP. It is that based on the information to which they had access, there were at least four thieves who stole dollars, pesos, three firearms and jewelry from at least one of one of the houses located in the gated community of the north zone of La Silver, and that at this time the Police are investigating whether they managed to attack due to the complicity of security or if there was any delivery of information regarding what happened.
According to the reconstruction of the first reported episode, and it is believed that the second occurred on the same day and under the same modality, everything happened on Saturday night after 7:00 p.m. in the neighborhood located at the intersection of 467 streets, between 144 and 146, of City Bell, one of the most traditional where -among other celebrities and personalities linked to power and politics- the Minister of Social Development, Victoria Tolosa Paz, and the Mayor of the City, Julio Garro, live.
Based on the first testimonies and the videos obtained by the security cameras of the place, it is known that the criminals were traveling in a Peugeot 208 driven by a woman, who was with her face uncovered and accompanied by three men. The suspects -as shown in the captured images- passed security controls after pretending to have technical problems with the entry card. The situation resulted in their access to the neighborhood being enabled, and they automatically went to the property, whose owner is Reynaldo López, as indicated in the police report of the event.
According to the account of spokespersons and sources in the case, it was around 7:20 p.m. when the thieves were already prowling the facilities. They waited almost two hours until the owner’s son, who is a well-known businessman in the refrigeration industry in the City, left the home. It is believed that in that interim the thieves took advantage of another blow, in the absence of the owners, although not many more details were known so far.
It was at that moment that the thugs entered through the main entrance of the house, which, according to the official report, “was not locked, it was just closed.” The commando coup took place in less than 10 minutes, in which they managed to steal dollars and pesos, jewelry, three firearms (all with the corresponding credentials) and personal items from a family. There were no injuries or fatalities, since the house was empty at the time of the robbery.
After the daring robbery, those involved would have left through a window, got into the Peugeot and no longer made maneuvers to avoid the access security: they destroyed the barrier and escaped by driving down 467 street in the direction of Belgrano street. The owners of the assaulted house, who arrived at 9:15 p.m., would have come across the car that was carrying the assailants at that moment and upon noticing the robbery, they immediately notified 911.
