Apex Legends Mobile will soon disappear from Android and Apple’s digital stores, Respawn announces in one blog posts. Less than a year after its launch, it is now clear that the action title has not delivered the quantity or quality of content that users deserve, and that the audience has thus not been there. Respawn writes:

“Although disappointing, we are proud of the game we launched, are grateful for the support of the Apex Legends community, and are confident that this is the right decision for players.”

The game’s content and rewards, as well as the game app itself, will continue to work until May 1st, when the game will disappear for good. But as of now, it is no longer possible to download it or buy in-game currency.

It seems like a lot of mobile titles are having a hard time right now, and a month ago it was clear that Crash Bandicoot: On the Run would also be shut down, and the same thing happened with The Witcher: Monster Slayer where the developers confirmed the shutdown on June 30.
