gucci is synonymous with luxury, while Adidas… well, it is the quintessential shoe born in Europe. Both companies star in a new collaboration, the Après-Ski boots, available for the winter season on the Old Continent.
There are four models launched by Gucci and Adidas, all with extravagant color combinations, with the characteristic design of Alessandro Michele.
This fashion designer born in Rome, Italy (1972) trained at the Accademia di Costume e di Moda Romana, working with Tom Ford and Gucci. According to Vogue, he has been with the Italian house since 2002, becoming assistant to the direction almost a decade later and, since 2015, reaching the creative direction.
“I am very happy because every day that I go to work seems like a new day to me”, is one of his most outstanding statements. “And I don’t care what might happen tomorrow. It’s incredibly nice to work at Gucci because I can transmit my passion, and I’m having a great time”.
In the case of the Après-Ski collection, they are bold tones reminiscent of Adidas production in the 90s and 2000s, pointing to winter creations.
Thus we see four models of the boot in multicolored technical canvas versions, with neon touches to highlight the hiking elements, as Hypebeast points out.

the combinations they are green with violet, black and white; black with red and gray; light brown with violet and gray; and blue with red and white.
Its eyelets are made of metal and its laces, accordingly, with a stepped sole unit with 52-millimeter studs. “It’s one of the wildest Gucci x Adidas creations to date,” indicates the specialized portal.
A special retro mountain label is also added on the tongue, with the old Adidas logo with the three flames.
What is the price of each pair? About 1,200 dollars to change, from its equivalent in euros, becoming one of the most expensive footwear that opens the way in 2023.
