Argentina orders the release of a ship held in the waterway

The Argentine Naval Prefecture received the electronic legal document from the Civil and Commercial Court, which provides for the release of the detained vessel under the argument of not paying the illegal toll.

“The lifting of the Paraguayan-flagged tugboat HV GRUS has been arranged, opportunely locked in records dated 07/28/23”, indicates the judicial document.

It is estimated that the lost profit of the tugboat is 40,000 dollars per day, that is,would be 400,000 dollars of loss, taking into account the 10 days of immobility.

So far this is the only decision officially communicated, that is, At no time is the possibility of suspending the collection of the toll applied in exchange for any consideration from January 1st mentioned.
