To make this report, an important fact was highlighted. Of the 10 cheapest cars sold in the country, only Toyota Etios, Fiat Cronos and Toyota Yaris are repeated among the best sellers.

Within the top ten, the Toyota Etios starts at $3,428,000 in its Hatckback X MT version, being the cheapest, while at the other extreme is the Volkswagen Amarok Black Style V6 4×4 AT pickup with a value of $16,482,450. Between those two list prices that are located at the beginning and at the end of the analyzed universe is the average: 7,494,250 pesos.

To arrive at this number, the average of each member of the list was made between its entry-level and top-of-the-range version, and then the two average results between the cheapest and the most expensive range were taken, they explain in Motor1.

The president of ACARA, Ricardo Salomé commented: “the almost 19,700 vehicles in December mean that we end the year with a more than positive feeling, with good year-on-year growth and exceeding 407,000 registrations, something that at some point we saw as difficult to achieve. These are very soccer weeks and we can say that we have also played our championship with a positive result, since we have had to go through a 2022 that had its complexitiesbut together with the value chain we have formed a great team, which with a lot of effort has reached the end with good results despite having a very restricted offer”.

“They were 12 very intense months and as we have been warning since January, if we had had more vehicles the figures would have been considerably higher. In any case, we chose to keep the glass half full that we established a good brand from where we can now grow in 2023, We are already working together with the area authorities for this, we continue in action,” Salomé completed.
