Anti-terrorism investigating judges on Tuesday asked for the remand to trial of 14 people, including six teenagers.

Anti-terrorism investigating judges ordered this Tuesday that 14 people be tried after the assassination on October 16, 2020 in the Yvelines of Samuel Paty, BFMTV learned from the anti-terrorism prosecution.

Eight adults and six teenagers

This dismissal is in accordance with the requisitions of the prosecution dated April 7. For this act which had caused a huge stir in France and abroad, these magistrates ask that the most serious offense, complicity in terrorist assassination, be retained for two friends of the assailant Abdoullakh Anzorov.

Six other adults will be judged with them at the assizes for terrorist association of criminals with a view to preparing crimes of attack on persons. Five teenagers will have to appear before the juvenile court for criminal association in order to prepare an offense punishable by at least 5 years of imprisonment and a last young person for slanderous denunciation.
