The CES in Las Vegas is an opportunity to lift the veil on many products. While we were treated to several announcements concerning televisions or graphics cards that should delight players, today a new controller is being unveiled by Asus.

An Xbox controller with OLED screen for PC gamers

The Asus ROG Raikiri Pro is an Xbox branded Pro controller intended primarily for PC gamers. It is distinguished by the presence of a 1.3-inch OLED screen on the front panel, allowing you to display several information and modify certain parameters.

Among other things, you can view the battery level, set up and save various profiles, manage your microphone or display animations.

The controller is configurable via the PC Armory Crate application from Asus, which allows you to modify the sensitivity of the sticks and their dead zone, remap the buttons as well as block the triggers. Four additional buttons are also present under the controller, as is the case with most Pro controllers, and you can choose between two different directional pads.

Also compatible with Xbox Series X|S

If it is mainly dedicated to PC players, Asus indicates that you can also enjoy it on Xbox Series X | S, but only in cable. Remember also that several weeks ago, we discovered the patent filed by Microsoft for an Xbox controller also equipped with a screen. If you like the idea, then there is a good chance that other controllers of this type will arrive on the market in the years to come.

The price and the exact release date of the Asus Raikiri Pro remain to be defined. We just know that it will be released in the first quarter of 2023.
