At least 68 people die in Gaza after Israeli attack

Now we move on to the most recent war conflict between Israel and the Hamas Group.

At least 68 people died on Sunday in central Gaza, due to an airstrike by the Israeli army.

This is stated by health officials in the area.

The 68 deaths include at least 12 women and seven children, according to early hospital figures.

All Christmas celebrations have been canceled and tentative attempts continue in Egypt to reach an agreement for another hostage exchange of Palestinians held by Israel.

Additionally, gunfire erupted this Sunday, causing chaos near the Rafah border just as trucks were distributing aid. This occurred at the crossing that connects Egypt and Gaza.

So far, approximately 20,000 Palestinians have been killed and almost all of the more than two million inhabitants have been displaced from the territory since the war began.

The number of Israeli soldiers killed in combat rose to more than a dozen over the weekend.
