Audi SUV crashes into BMW dealership in Miami

An SUV from the German brand Audi crashed this Saturday into a German BMW car dealership in Miami.

Images captured by the establishment’s security cameras show the moment when the driver of the Audi loses control of the vehicle and ends up going through a fence and knocking down a palm tree inside the dealership.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident and only some vehicles were hit due to the uncontrolled and dramatic entry of the Audi.

The event sparked comments among users of the Instagram page Only in Dadewho did not miss the opportunity to joke about the rivalry between the two German high-end car manufacturers.

“An Audi crashed into the Braman BMW service center. The Audi hit the ramp, jumped, knocked palm trees out of the lot and damaged several cars in the parking lot. Fortunately, there were no injuries,” the incident site indicated.

“The Audi vs BMW war is heating up,” one user joked in the comments. “A couple of months ago a car drove through the showroom of this same dealership,” another recalled.

And indeed, his memory is exact: at the end of May an elderly man from Miami suffered a health problem that caused him to lose control of the steering wheel and ended up colliding with a cyclist, causing serious head injuries.

The 70-year-old driver also hit three cars before crashing into the Braman dealership at 2060 Biscayne Boulevard, where it also caused damage to three other vehicles.

The incident occurred in Downtown Miami, at Northeast 21st Street. According to the Miami-Dade Police Department, after hitting the cyclist, the driver panicked, put the car in reverse and accelerated.

“It hits three vehicles on the road and ends up in Braman Showroom hitting cars inside. No one inside was injured. The driver does NOT appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol,” the Only in Dade site detailed on its Instagram account.
