Baldur's Gate 3 receives its first update and fixes more than 150 problems

The day after its release, Baldur’s Gate 3 has already received its first official hotfix in its PC version. Larian Studios reports that this update addresses over 150 identified issues, with a focus on resolving crashes that could hinder mission progress.

“After reviewing your reports of errors in the save function, we identified the cause: our cross saves,” the developer stated. This feature will be disabled until September 6, when it launches on PlayStation 5.

“Gameplay experience should no longer be affected and Steam Cloud saves will remain intact,” the Baldur’s Gate 3 studio stated. Fixed bugs involving cutscenes, dialogue, and the Steam API, among other areas.

The company fixed more than 150 bugs.

Also in the update Fixed issues such as male hair physics, multiplayer cutscene playback, and interface issues. In addition, the audio has been adjusted, engine issues and in-game cinematics have been addressed.

Larian Studios’ recent update for Baldur’s Gate 3 on Steam it only requires an additional 209.1 MB download. It was also implemented in the GOG version.
