BBVA Mexico issued a message to its clients in which they requested the update of their tax data, as part of a new SAT requirement. “Due to the 2022 Tax Reform, it is necessary that you share your updated information with us, before December 31, to continue issuing your vouchers (CFDI) with tax validity,” he said.

To update the fiscal data from the BBVA app these steps should be followed:

  • Enter your profile
  • Then locate the Fiscal Data section, press ‘Show data’, accept the mobile Token that is generated in the app and press edit.
  • Verify that the data that appears are the same as those registered with the SAT.
  • Then, verify that the tax address is correct and is the same registered with the SAT.
  • Finally, if all the data you verified or entered is correct, check the box. Your proof of successful registration will be generated and you will receive it by email.
