The city continues to be shaken from the two crimes that occurred in La Plata during the last weekend: one of them occurred in the Los Hornos megatome and the victim could not yet be identified; the other was registered in a fifth of etcheverrywhen a young woman from Chaco was beaten to death by her boyfriend.
Regarding the latter, according to police sources 0221.com.arthe defendant, known as “Chino”, was arrested on Sunday night after being intensively searched by the authorities, since he fled after committing the attack.
In addition, it was learned that the couple arrived in the region from Chaco, approximately a month ago, to work in the fruit and vegetable sector. According to sources of the investigation, the man attacked her face and other parts of her body.
When the troops from the Fifteenth Police Station arrived on the scene alerted by a call to 911, they found that the young woman was on the ground, naked and bloodstained. The woman, as indicated, suffered various traumas and she did not have injuries from a stab or firearm.
In addition, from the testimonies collected, it was established that a 32-year-old man was present at the time of the crimeIn principle, “without intervening in the attack, but allowing it to take place,” the sources added.
For this reason, it was delayed by the agents and was made available to UFI No. 6 of the Judicial Department of La Plata, under the charge of prosecutor Marcelo Romero, who characterized the case as “homicide.”
DEALERS, SHOOTING AND ESCAPE
On the other hand, the authorities are still seeking certainty about the crime in the Los Hornos megatomewhere a young man dedicated to the sale of drugs died.
As the investigators were able to reconstruct, the victim was carrying out a “handrail” with four people before being attacked and it was at the time of the transaction that firearm detonations began to be heard.
The projectiles hit the dealer, killing him on the spot, and one of the buyers. Those involved quickly escaped and, for now, it is unknown if they were injured.
“Regarding the injured person, he is hospitalized at the San Juan de Dios hospital, where the surgeon on duty said that the impacts did not perforate vital organs, but a projectile did break a rib.”, explained the spokesmen. For this reason, he was kept under observation even though he was out of danger.
The Scientific Police personnel arrived at the scene and seized served pods and a nylon wrapper with marijuana. Regarding the motives for the attack, it is believed that a group working for the dealers opened fire, thinking that the buyers had been sent covertly to disrupt the drug trade. This hypothesis could not yet be verified.
Currently, the cause -caratulated as “homicide, weapon abuse and injuries”– is instructed by the prosecutor Romero.
