Enrique Guzmán, a doctor who was facing a complaint for injuries suffered by a woman who went to the clinic where the doctor works on March 11, will be before the judge this Thursday for the hearing to formulate charges.

49 days have passed since on March 11 the nurse, identified as Magdalena, who works for one of the State Government hospitals, went to the Ambulatory Surgery Unit (UCA) located at 401 Fernando de Borja street, in the Colonia San Felipe, to visit a relative who had undergone a rhytidectomy, when she was dissatisfied with the care the patient received, she had a heated discussion with the doctor in charge, Enrique Guzmán

According to the version of “Kío Daniel”, a Facebook profile that shared the video of the attack, the nurse began to complain to Dr. Guzmán for what he described as poor care that his relative had received, who despite presenting a bruise on his face which led to failure, the surgeon took almost three hours to get to the clinic.

In the video, Magdalena is seen struggling with the doctor, while she is talking to “Dr. Modesto”, who does not appear in the video, but is the one the woman seems to be warning of negligence. Moments later, the doctor takes the nurse to the door of the clinic and then pushes her, causing her to fall on her back, for which four days later she filed a complaint for injuries.

March 13 was when the case became publicly known, generating reactions against what happened in various scenarios, since there were accusations from legislators, the CEDH, and medical organizations that distanced themselves. [email protected]
