Best literary sales: the great return of yesterday’s bestsellers

Not content with acclaiming the winners of the autumn grand prizes (Giuliano da Empoli, 270,000 copies sold of Kremlin Magethe live fast by Brigitte Giraud with 178,000 copies sold, Sabyl Ghoussoub and her Beirut-sur-Seineevaluated on December 25 at 50,000 copies by Edistat on December 25, etc.), they are relaunching sales of 2022 bestsellers at the end of the year. The Alaska Sanders Affairby Joël Dicker, published on March 10 and sold 420,000 copies (outside Switzerland) or even Big world by Pierre Lemaitre, released on January 25 and acquired by 320,000 fans.

We are also witnessing the great return of… witches by Mona Cholet. Published in September 2018, The undefeated power of women celebrates its 131st week of presence in our charts and counts some 435,000 copies on the counter! Only “fantasy” of barges, madness of cats, by Claude Beata. Prefaced by Boris Cyrulnik, the essay by the veterinary clinician trained in the science of ethology indeed comes in 17th place.
