“God, I’m going to miss ordering you around so much,” Betty jokes, suddenly there she is her last patient in front of her: dr Star! He has injured his rib and therefore needs to be examined once. In doing so, he realizes that Betty has resigned and is going to Namibia – and that she has broken up with David. He then tries to start a conversation with her and to say unspoken things, but he misses the right moment.

But then they start talking again. First Frank sounds reproachful: “Munich was too far away for you, but Namibia works.” Shortly afterwards, however, when both had to say goodbye to each other, feelings slowly flare up again in Betty – later featured the song “The Power of Love” by Frankie Goes To Hollywood. As he drives away in the car, she runs after him. He gets out and the two kiss.

“What a mistake, going to Munich without you,” he admits to her. And she replies that she will leave for Namibia in three days. “Everything in me says this is the right thing to do now”says Betty. But at the same time she is afraid of losing Frank again immediately. So he makes a decision: He wants to accompany Betty to Namibia – no matter how short notice it is: “I’m not stupid and let you go again.”

Shortly thereafter, Betty does one last lap. Your successor will be determined – and the entire team can say “goodbye” with a laughing and a crying eye, because of course everyone is happy for the love comeback of the couple. With such a conciliatory ending, it should also be easier for fans to focus on a “Betty’s Diagnosis” without Annina Hellenthal as Betty Weiss and Max Alberti as Dr. to admit Frank Stein. There couldn’t be a greater happy ending for either of them. At the very end, Betty hints that Frank might not want to propose to her again. “This time I would say yes,” are her last words in the episode and thus also in the series.
