Tonight Beyoncé became the artist with the highest number of Grammys in history, having reached 32 after receiving tonight, so far, 4 gramophones, during the 65th Grammy Awards.

The audience rose to their feet to applaud Beyoncé when she accepted this award which, on the verge of tears, she dedicated to God, her parents, her Uncle Johnny, her children and the queer community.

The artist, who arrived late to the ceremony, was already the most nominated woman in history -88 times- and even before the gala she had 28 awards that endorsed her successful path in the music industry as a pop star.

In addition to breaking the record held by Hungarian conductor Georg Solti, Beyoncé also surpasses iconic figures such as legendary producer Quincy Jones, with whom she shared second place on the select list.

The four titles the singer has won so far tonight are Best Electronic Dance Song for “Break My Soul”; Best Traditional R&B Performance for “Plastic Off the Sofa”; Best R&B Song for “Cuff It” and Best Electronic Dance Album for “Renaissance.”

An album that has meant the return through the front door of the singer, who since 2016 with “Lemonade” did not present a studio album. Beyoncé will now embark on a tour in which she will visit countries in Europe and North America

Beyoncé is the most nominated artist tonight with nine nominations. The 65th Grammy Awards is taking place this Sunday at the Crypto.com Arena, a venue known for being the home where the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers basketball teams play their games.
