Interviewed by Gaming Bolt, Bloober Team’s Kacper Michalski did not deny the possibility that the studio could give birth to sequels for The Medium And Observer in the near future, even if at the moment everything is silent in this regard.
The team is currently working on Layers of Fear and Silent Hill 2 Remake, but for the future”everything is possible” quoting Michalski himself, who does not close the door to possible sequels to The Medium and Observer: “If the opportunity arises, if we have a good idea to return to the universes of The Medium and Observer… who knows, why not?”
As mentioned, the studio is working on multiple projects both based on its own IPs and on behalf of third parties and therefore at the moment there doesn’t seem to be room to speculate sequels to The Medium or Observer but it is not excluded a priori that these two titles could become franchises in the near future.
In 2021, Tencent bought 21% of Bloober Team becoming the majority shareholder of the company, also in 2021 the team entered into a partnership with Rogue Games for the production of a Next-Gen game, a title not yet announced and of which we know nothing. So this is a particularly busy period for Bloober Team.
