Seven Cuban rafters made landfall this Thursday in the Florida Keys and were detained by US border authorities, according to official reports.
A brief statement published on the social networks of the US Border Patrol (USBP) reports that members of that agency and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) detected the landing of migrants in the Keys of Florida on the morning of this Thursday.
“The migrants arrived in a homemade boat this morning near Marathon,” the tweet said, without giving details about the state of the people.
