Pierre Kunde is back in the Bundesliga. VfL Bochum announces the signing of the former Mainz 05 player. The 27-year-old midfielder is moving back to Germany after a year and a half at Olympiakos Piraeus and has signed a loan agreement that also includes a purchase option.

The fact that he knows the Bundesliga and has already fought successfully with Mainz to stay up in the league is, in addition to his international experience, other plus points that speak for him and his loan. We now want to introduce Pierre to the team as quickly as possible, and the training camp is perfect for that.”

Customer should give new power to the sparse midfield of VfL. Due to injuries, left-back Konstantinos Stafylidis had to help out at headquarters from time to time before the winter break. With his experience of 68 Bundesliga games and 35 international matches with Cameroon, Kunde should contribute to Bochum’s relegation.
