As Brazil tries to recover after the attacks suffered by far-right groups over the weekend, the former president of that country, Jair Bolsonaro, received a medical discharge in the United States.

After being hospitalized at the Advent Health Celebration hospital in Florida, where he had been admitted after presenting a picture of “intestinal subocclusion”, Bolsonaro left a message confirming his recovery.

The news that Bolsonaro had been hospitalized caused a stir, and there was speculation about false information that was intended to separate him from the violent acts perpetrated by his followers who assaulted and destroyed the headquarters of Congress, the Planalto and the Court on Sunday.

“After being stabbed in Juiz de Fora/MG, I underwent 5 surgeries,” Bolsona said in his message posted on Twitter.

And he added: “Since the last one, 2x I had adhesions that led me to other medical procedures.” But now she confirmed the discharge: “Yesterday (Sunday) new adhesion and – today Monday – hospital discharge in Orlando / USA. Grateful for the prayers and messages of speedy recovery”, concluded the former president of Brazil.

On the other hand, the Brazilian representative of the Workers’ Party (PT), Erika Hilton, requested the extradition of former president Jair Bolsonaro.

The request is already in the hands of Lula’s Foreign Minister, Mauro Vieira, and is based on the seizures of the Planalto Palace, the Supreme Court and the Brazilian Congress carried out on Sunday by thousands of supporters of the ex-president.

Bolsonaro traveled to the US prior to the arrival of his victor, Lula Da Silva, as president, and thus avoided handing over command and protected himself from possible legal cases that have him as a defendant.

However, the acts of violence that occurred in Brasilia and the consequent repudiations cause pressure and make it difficult for them to remain in US territory.
